About Abby

I was a writer and editor of national trade publications for seven years, with a combined circulation of more than 80,000 subscribers, predicting and publishing retail trends in the specialty gift, party, and stationery industries. I contributed more than 100 nationally published features a year and was also responsible for all additional editorial content of the magazines, websites, and e-newsletters.

After that I was the head writer and associate editor of a viral site, where I rigorously watched the Internet in order to find breaking stories and then wrote, edited, and published multiple stories a day. All content was created with an eye for evoking emotions and humor and motivating shares that helped bring the website to one of the top ten mobile sites in the world.

I’m now a freelance writer and editor whose clients include everything from email marketers and software companies to e-commerce retailers and travel. My personal work/tweets has been featured multiple times on The Huffington Post, BuzzFeed, Reader’s Digest, The Today Show, Vend, Shopify, Payoneer,  Scary Mommy, Apartment Therapy, Casual Living, Gift Shop Magazine, The Erma Bombeck Writer’s Workshop, Recycled Paper Greetings, and clients include companies like Google, Facebook, LIVESTRONG anbd Lyft. I’m also HubSpot certified in content marketing and have earned the Poynter ACES Certificate in Editing.

I was also awarded 2015 Huffington Post Top 50 Funniest Tweet , 2016 Huffington Post Top 50 Funniest Tweet2017 Huffington Post Top 50 Funniest Tweet, 2018 Huffington Post Top 50 Funniest Tweet, 2019 Huffington Post Top 50 Funniest Tweet, BuzzFeed’s 2018 Top Funniest Tweets By Women, BuzzFeed’s 2019 Top Funniest Tweets By Women, and 2015 BlogHer Voice of the Year Honoree,
